Mr. Lohe began his career working in the professional sports world. He worked for Michael Jordan and Nike basketball, the San Jose Clash/Earthquakes of Major League Soccer, the Oakland A’s baseball company and Octagon Football.
Jason Lohe is one of the few financial advisors in the country who is a Registered Player Financial Advisor with the National Football League Player's Association.
Before starting Safeguard Financial and Insurance Services, Mr. Lohe worked as a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley and with the AIG Advisor Group.
He holds a series 7, 66 and 24 registration as well as a California Life, Health, and Property and Casualty license.

Misty has been with Safeguard since its inception and acts as one of the corporate officers. She is a key part of Safeguard Benefits and Insurance Services in her main role as our Health Insurance expert.
Misty works with individuals and families as well as businesses of any size and is happy to help with questions and concerns about today's health insurance industry. Health Insurance is an ever changing field - Misty stays up to date on all happenings in the health field and is diligent about keeping her clients abreast as to the latest changes that may affect coverage, rates and the different carriers by region.
"Health Insurance" means more than just medical coverage. Misty is able to help clients with benefits packages that include medical coverage as well as dental, vision, chiropractic care, acupuncture benefits, prescription plans, and more.

Mr. Chang has over 10 years experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Safeguard, Mr. Chang worked on the bond desk for Bear Stearns New York Institutional team, and worked as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch’s Institutional and Global Private Client Group, and Morgan Stanley’s Global Wealth Management Group.
Mr. Chang is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business and has a MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
He holds a series 7, 66 and 31 registration as well as a California Life and Health license.

R. Paul Morey

Mr. Morey has worked in the financial services industry as both a Financial Advisor and a Registered Representative for over 20 years.
He holds a series 7 and 63 registration as well as a California Life and Disability insurance license. Mr. Morey is a Registered Representative of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc.
Mr. Morey began his career with Financial Network Investment Corporation a subsidiary of ING in 1983, and has joined Safeguard as a financial consultant.
Melissa Montoya

Ms. Montoya has worked in the financial services industry since 2002. She began her career at New York Life Insurance Company and now has her own insurance and financial services company located in Littleton, Colorado.
Ms. Montoya is a registered representative of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. and holds a series 6 and 63 registration as well as a Colorado life, health, disability and long-term care insurance license, and has joined Safeguard as a financial consultant.
